BYU had no trouble defeating TCU last night at the Marriott Center, but once again Jimmer Fredette provided another highlight to go along with his 40-footer against Utah last week. The shot did not come with the shot clock winding down and BYU was up 23-7, so I guess Jimmer said what the heck I am open so why not take the shot.
The moral of this story is that any defender must pick up Fredette immediately at half court to hopefully prevent him from getting off any type of shot. Fredette was held to only 21 points per game which is a few points below his average of 25.8 points per game.
