Utah To Replace Iowa State With Montana State In 2011

Stay connected for news and updates

Iowa State and Utah both agreed to drop the Cyclones return trip to Salt Lake next year since both schools are gearing up for a nine game conference schedule. There is on return trip scheduled for Iowa State to head to Utah.  This was talked about a month ago, but today it is a reality.

The major downside is that Utah had to struggle to find an opponent, and will be playing Montana State next year.  This all but assures that BYU and Utah will not be playing next year, because with the addition of Montana State to the schedule Utah also has Boise State and Pittsburgh.  So, unless Boise State and Utah move their game down the road the Holy War will be taking a one year hiatus.
