Predicting the Season: BYU @ Colorado State

The Cougars are coming off a season in which they were actually in talks of going to a BCS Bowl, but losing twice did not help their causes and instead went to the Las Vegas Bowl in which they destroyed Oregon State. The Cougars lost their starting QB in Max Hall and the NCAA's leading rusher in Harvey Unga. Many people have said this is going to be a down year for BYU, but Bronco Mendenhall has been in this position before, and done well in it.

The Rams are looking to rebound from a disappointing end to last season, losing their last nine games of the season after winning their first three. The Rams are deep at running back and have a solid offensive line to build off of for the next few years.

BYU should beat this one in order to hopefully keep up with the rest of the MWC.

Colorado State is ranked 80th while BYU is ranked 45th in the Sporting News Top 100. This game has a 12:00 P.M. MT kick and will be televised on The Mtn. and The Mtn. HD.

Voting begins at 11:00 A.M. MT every morning and lasts 24 hours.
