San Diego State had a relatively good season last year in Brady Hoke's first year, but this year many are expecting the Aztecs to go bowling. Last season's 4-8 campaign could have been a bowl season if they had won a couple of close games. This season, they have All-MWC first team wide receiver Vincent Brown and a 3,500 yard passer in Ryan Lindley.
New Mexico is going to try to rebound from a one win season just a year ago, but it won't be easy. New Mexico returns the least starters and has the least experience in starting out of all the teams in the MWC.
San Diego State should win this game with the edge in talent and experience.
San Diego State is ranked 91st while New Mexico is ranked 96th in the Sporting News Top 100. This game has an 8:00 P.M. MT kick and will be televised on The Mtn. and The Mtn. HD.
Voting begins at 11:00 A.M. MT every morning and lasts 24 hours.
