Predicting The Season: Air Force @ TCU

Air Force was the closest team to beating TCU in the regular season in a 20-17 loss.  That game was in icy conditions at the Academy and saw TCU have two turnovers inside the red zone.  Both teams are expected to be about where they were last year.  The game being in Fort Worth makes conditions much more ideal then last years ice storm and is more conducive for the running game that favors Air Force.

The Falcon defense was a step behind TCU in pass defense, so TCU QB Andy Dalton better be careful when throwing against the Falcon secondary.  The game should be close again due to the ball control that Air Force employees, but my opinion is that TCU wins and in a larger fashion then last years squeaker.

Air Force is 42nd and TCU IS 6TH in the Sporting News Top 100. This game as a 7:00 P.M. CT kick on October 16th and will be televised on CBS College Sports

Voting begins at 11:00 A.M. MT every morning and lasts 24 hours.

as much as i like air force i see a tcu romp in this game.

I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. 3 weeks till the first game of college football. UTAH vs Pitt. September 2nd 2010.

No romp

Are you kidding? You must know nothing about this Air Force team, especially its defense. No one will enjoy a romp against Air Force this year.

Agreed.

TCU often struggles with AFA, but that is typically when they are in Colorado Springs. I don’t see a “romp” here, but I think that TCU will just be to much for the Falcons on both sides of the line and if TCU can get an early lead should be able to cruise to a W with a strong ground game. Plus this will be homecoming weekend so expect sellout crowd and a jacked up TCU squad.

"Football is a violent game played by violent people, so put a smile on your face, murder in your heart and lets go kick these f***kers in the mouth" -Dick Bumpas, TCU Defensive Coordinator

In Air Force’s last two trips to Fort Worth, they have lost by 24 points and 34 points. Air Force has a new defensive coordinator and returns 6 starters on defense. Yes, I’m with wolfmanshowlforever. TCU in a romp.

the game last year had the worst whether conditions imaginable. it negated the tcu speed.

speed kills and tcu has it everywhere. i like air force to end up in third place but they will get stomped by tcu. utah and air force have alot of close games. many of them have gone to ot. we will see what happens

tcu will run the ball all day long with their five speedy rb's. they are a flexible team.

look ,i like air force but there is a huge step below utah and tcu this year. you will see i’m right when the season is over.
