Predicting The Season: Wyoming @ Texas

Stay connected for news and updates

Last year Wyoming played Texas tough for a half and then once the Horns woke up they rolled the Pokes.  This season Wyoming should be better with a full year under Dave Christensen's offense and that Austyn Carta-Samuels will be the guy at quarterback all season.

Texas does have a new quarterback Garrett Gilbert and will be moving to under center for more plays to develop a running game that was non-existent the last few years.

Texas should easily win, but hopefully Wyoming can gain some experience by playing Texas which should help them when they have to face Boise State and TCU later on in the year.

Wyoming is ranked 88th while Texas is 9th in the Sporting News top 100. The game is on Fox Sports and kick is at 8p.m. eastern time on Saturday September 11th.

Voting lasts 24 hours and will begin everyday at 11am mountain time.
