Predicting The Season: Nevada @ UNLV
The battle for the Fremont Cannon is on the line, and anytime some type of fire arm is awarded for the winner of a football game is a plus in my book. We all know the Nevada Pistol offense is very effective with a bazillion different plays can be run from that, and QB Colin Kaepernick is a master at the offense.
UNLV is the opposite as the school is moving away from their spread attack and to a more traditional offense. Last year the Rebels will be reminded of their horrendous beat down where the Rebels gave up 42 second half points, and 773 yards of total offense.
Nevada is ranked 53rd while UNLV is unranked in the Sporting News Top 100. This game has a 7:00 PM PT kick and will be televised on The Mtn. and The Mtn. HD.
Voting begins at 11:00 AM Mountain Time every day and lasts for 24 hours.

i was just in vegas and some early lines have come out.
utah vs pitt: pitt +2.5 (taking utah) unlv vs wisky: unlv +24.5 (taking the rebels) byu vs washington: washington +3.5 (taking huskies) tcu vs osu: osu 10.5 (undecided) the handicappers must think unlv sucks b/c 4 out of their first 5 games they are a dog by three td’s or more. i like them in the first game b/c wisky is primarily a running team which takes alot of time off the clock. plus they will be jacked up b/c it is first game with new coach.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. I still will always follow the Mountain West Conference. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez and face the winner of Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson where he will defeat JDS and stake his claim as pound for pound champion. Womens MMA, the next big thing in sports. 5 weeks till the first game of college football. UTAH vs Pitt. September 2nd 2010.
