Preseason Mountain West Teams Announced

The preseason awards were announced earlier today with four Air Force players being selected and one lone representative from the Rams being LB Mychal Sisson. The preseason defensive player of the year award went to TCU's Tank Carder, but do not be surprised if Air Force's Anthony Wright is in the discussion once the season ends.

Last year Wright had seven picks, four broken up passes, 58 tackles, and with 12 tackles being for a loss. Where as Carder had 89 tackles, 10 for a loss, and two sacks. The nod goes to Carder because of what Gary Patterson does with his defenses in the past.

Offensively it looks right with the players at their respected positions and there are no real surprises.
