This will be the first game for either Jake Heaps or Riley Nelson as the new BYU quarterback, and this will be a good test for Washington to see if they are making the next step. Also, this will be start of the Jake Locker hype machine for the Heisman for a player who has the skills but his team has never been all that great.
BYU is ranked 45th while Washington is 25 in the Sporting News top 100. The game is on CBS College and kick is at 7p.m. eastern time on Saturday September 4th.
Voting lasts 24 hours and will begin everyday at 11am mountain time.

Normally it wouldn't matter.
But I think this game will be close… so early, mid, or late season will affect my vote.

Tough call
Home field advantage is big for BYU. Advantage BYU.
Quarterback play will be huge. Jock Licker vs. unknown newbie. Advantage WSU.
I give the edge to WSU due to experience. I will be watching to find out.

you guys should know that. He carried an 0-12 team to within a blocked extra point of beating you guys 2 years ago.
And now he can pass too!
BYU 2010 Season with Heaps at QB.
Win Washington at home and Florida State on the road.
Give TCU and Utah the scare of their season.
With all of Air Force Improvements and high expectations, not good enough for BYU. SDS not as good as Air Force, but better than the rest not mentioned above.
10-2 conference season. Bowl game victory not known at this time.

your name fits how well BYU will do. I see them beating Washington, but not FSU. I think 10-2 is possible but that means beating two of the three from Air Force, Utah, and TCU, possible but difficult.
