Jimmer Fredette Inching Closer To Officially Entering The NBA Draft

BYU's Jimmer Fredette is looking more like he will be keeping his name in the NBA Draft.  Apparently, his workouts have been going very well, and he is considered the number two point guard in a weak class.  ESPN's Chad Ford is hitching up to the Jimmer bandwagon ($):

I've assumed that Fredette would go back to school. Now I'm not so sure. He's been one of the few underclassmen to get a number of workouts this week. Why? It's a weak point guard draft. Scouts were intrigued by his play this season, and several teams' stat guys rank him as the No. 2 point guard in the draft. I've also gotten word that he has impressed people in workouts. I guess we'll find out Saturday if he was able to do enough to secure his status in Round 1.

Chad Ford also has Jimmer at 45th ($) on his top 100 NBA prospects and projects him as a second rounder to undrafted, this was last updated April 27th.  BYU's coach Dave Rose spoke to people from Oklahoma City and Boston where both organizations had high praise for Jimmer.

My opinion stays the same that unless Jimmer is for sure a first rounder he should return to BYU.
