UNLV 2010 Football Recruit Analysis: Week 6 - Recruits 16-18
This is the sixth article of an eight part "Recruiting Trip" that will describe each UNLV football recruit. Each separate article will start off with the same introduction.
UNLV has a wide variety of recruits this year, as this coming year will be Bobby Hauck's first year as UNLV head coach. This class ranges from Defensive Ends to Running Backs and shows promise in almost every recruit. He impressed many people, including myself, in the job he did in such a short period.
Hauck was put in the top 25 recruiters by ESPN, given the late start he had, and that deserves some recognition in itself. His highest recruit that he signed was given a 75 by Scouts, Inc. and was a 3 star recruit, but when your coming from a team that went 5-7 its past 2 years and has literally no prestige under its belt, thats not a bad job of recruiting.

the problem with unlv is their facilities.
sam boyd stadium kinda sucks. it’s used to be in the middle of nowhere but they have built town homes around most of it. it’s in the worst part of the city(other side of boulder hghwy) and at about the lowest elevation. it is also like 4 or 5 miles to the unlv campus. i read once their weight room is not too good either. they need to upgrade the facilities but most of the sports money goes to basketball b/c unlv is considered a basketball school. i do wish them well. win all your ooc game’s please.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. I was building a house, I don't deserve this, deserves have nothing to do with it. Bang. "Unforgiven" I drink your milkshake. I drink it up! "There Will BE Blood". Hell is just a word, the reality is much much worse." Event Horizon". Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean, I mean plumb, mad dog mean. cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live or win. That's just the way it is. "The Outlaw Josey Wales". "And that's just what these hustlers look for. They cruise from casino to casino looking for weak dealers the way lions look for weak antelope". Ace Rothstein, The Movie "Casino" 1995.

Yeah
Sam Boyd Stadium does suck. They either need to do some major rennovations or build a new stadium altogether.
I for one am for building a whole new stadium and making the facility look like it is proffesional unlike our current stadium is.
UNLV is going all the way this year!
Building a new stadium would help the Vegas bowl too
