Mountain West Hoops Open Thread: Last Full Weekend of Action
The regular season wraps up today with some seeding coming down with Utah, Colorado State, San Diego State, and UNLV. An interesting item to note that if Utah gets the five seed and UNLV is the four seed the Rebels could be in trouble since they were swept by the Utes this year. That is something to look out for.

Syracuse-Louisville
The Cardinals are up 4 with 9 minutes left. A Louisville win over the #1 team in the country would likely help UNLV’s RPI a little, wouldn’t it?

Wyoming
Djibril Thiam has shown some crazy athleticism. Took a guy off the dribble from mid range and threw down a monster dunk.

seriously
I think UNLV can avoid the sweep by Utah, but I’d much rather have UNLV face CSU.

Seeding
If things finish out as is then UNLV is the 3rd seed correct? They tie in conference record and head to head but have the better overall record over SDSU.
I think CSU would rather have SDSU and Utah have UNLV so maybe both teams got their wish today.
Bring back Fum's Song!
Thought so
I looked for the MWC tie breaker rules but came up empty.
TCU put a little scare into BYU for a minute there. Looks like the Cougs got control now though.
Bring back Fum's Song!
Yeah.
When I first opened up Gamecast, TCU was up 18-4 and I was concerned. Then I looked at the stats and saw that TCU was shooting 100% (including FG, FT, and 3pt). So then I ceased to be concerned, and BYU pulled back to be leading by 14 at the half, now up by 22.
