PrintThis is the last week of regular season hoops before the conference tournament begin. Shameless plug for the site join our ESPN conference challenge pick em game it starts soon so join the fun. Tonight's feature game is Utah vs. BYU which should be the best matchup of the night. San Diego State and Colorado State will be a close second.
TCU (13-6) @ #10 New Mexico (27-3) 8:30PM ET
#15 BYU (26-4) @ Utah (14-14) 9PM ET
Colorado State @ San Diego State 10:30PM ET

Rams could be in NIT trouble
The A-Sun tourney just tipped and eight seed Kennesaw beat top seed Lipscomb. The somewhat new rule that says a regular season conference champ automatically goes to the NIT, so Lipscomb is going to the NIT which means a team will get knocked out to the NIT to the CBI. That team could be CSU.

They did that against BYU were 9-20 in that game. FTs will be their weakness in close games.

Frustrating loss for the Utes
Offense was completely out of sync
Shots did not fall whatsoever

Only good sign is that their entire team is basically freshman and sophomores, so hopefully next year they will get over the hump. However, basically the entire league comes back with little attrition.
I think the top 4 are only going to get better

I think Utah will be better but wow they were pathetic tonight.
Boylen has got to do a better job on offense. The team is completely out of sync. Rebounding is a major issue too.
