The time has come to see if BYU can win a tournament game where it has been since 1993 since their last win. Welcome to the open thread and viewing party. Yes I said viewing party as well, below is a link that will open in a pop up to the NCAA® March Madness on Demand® directly to the BYU vs. Florida game this still allows you to stay on the site here and comment. You are able to change games but for this purpose and convince it goes directly to the BYU game.
The game is a 12:20PM eastern tip with all games on CBS and the NCAA® March Madness on Demand® player. Also as far as I can tell blackout rules do not apply. Stay beyond this game to chat about the entire early games. Here is the coverage map for today's games for the tv.

I was hoping they would lose because I did not jump on that wagon, and even though I picked them to win their first round game, many more picked them to go further. Oh well.

The SEC is NOT mighty in basketball.
That a false sense of joy you have there.
Kentucky, on the other hand, is mighty in basketball. I might also add that they rarely, if ever, contribute to the mightiness of the SEC in football.

hers as some graduation rates for you. byu and utah state 100%. tennessee and kentucky 30%. what a joke. west virginia beats kentucky straight up too. no title for kentucky and that zhitty caoch calipari who ruined the university of mass. and memphis and could not even figure out that he needed to foul that kansas guy before he got the three point shot off. the sec dumb and not as good as the mwc in basketball. i’m sure you were a role player at some sec school. peace

And you missed the point by a long shot.
The SEC is NOT mighty in basketball.
I said that. I also said that Kentucky is. Whether or not you like/respect/hate/etc. Calipari, that does not change the fact that Kentucky is a dominant basketball school. Therefore, they could be a mighty school that falls. Sadly, top-down the SEC is probably better than the MWC in basketball – unless you are talking graduation rates. Trust me, it kills me to say that. And the only role I am playing is standing up for the truth. I could care less about SEC basketball (most of the SEC doesn’t care anyway), I would much rather see the MWC succeed.
“Hers” a tip for you: don’t get your panties in a wad when someone calls you out for making hyperbolic statements.

i'll agree with that. i had a debate going with a guy named hoyagoon. he just disapeared...
like their team did yesterday in one of the worst performances in the last twenty years. they were giving 14.5 points and lost to a ninth place mac team that got lucky and won their conferece cg. the game was never in doubt too. villanova needed the refs help to get by robert morris too.
