Performances:
Ro- didn’t show up big this game. He hit two big 3s to start the game, then went completely cold. Even his D looked bad this game. He had a few good hustle plays, but nothing spectacular.
Gary- was insane. This guy sacrifices his body each and every time he goes to the basket, and yet is in perfect control until the minute he lets go of the ball. And he was something like 14 of 15 on his FTs.
Hobson- was unconscious good. He got way too emotional on the court, though. For a few moments I felt embarrassed. I’m all for feeling the moment and getting fired up, but he went over the line.

Letting teams stay close has been our problem all year long, though. As good as we’ve been in crunch time and with the game on the line, we are incapable of breaking games open the way a BYU does. If we let a lower-seed team get hot late in the game in the tournament and we could be in trouble. How often can we go 25/30 from the line?
