Best in the West, How Can it not be New Mexico?
Theleftcoastbias.com came out with their weekly best in the west rankings today. They had UNM at the #1 spot and dropped BYU down to #4 after the loss to the Lobos. This that is too harsh?
They also still have UNLV and SDSU in the rankings, meaning they once again have more teams in the rankings than the Pac-10.
What is everyone's thoughts on BYU being placed in the Salt Lake Region. They hurt their chances by losing at home to UNM but wow.... that would be such a huge advantage if they got to play a sweet 16 game at home.

I think it's a joke that Cal is ahead of them
They lost at UofA where BYU creamed them by 30.
Cal isn’t even ranked in either poll (only got 2 votes in the Coaches)… leftcoastbias must be run by some tarnished Golden Bears.
BYU v Gonzaga is really a toss up. In the AP they are ranked higher than UG by 4, but in the Coaches UG is 14 and BYU is 15. I’d have to give the edge to the Cougars because they have performed well in times without their star. Not to mention that BYU’s worst loss is to a top 35 RPI team in USU, while UG has a loss to RPI #182 LMU and #84 Portland.
i just want the mwc teams to beat east coast teams or midwest teams.
i hope the committee matches up these teams correctly.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. I was building a house, I don't deserve this, deserves have nothing to do with it. Bang. "Unforgiven" I drink your milkshake. I drink it up! "There Will BE Blood"
