The Horned Frogs (13-16, 5-9) closed out the 8:30 with a 23-8 run to beat the Rams (15-13, 6-8) at home.  Zvonko Buljan lead the Frogs with 17 points and 11 rebounds for another double double on the year.  The Rams are now sad owners of their longest losing streak of the year with four games.  This is the Rams first loss to a team below them in the Mountain West standings.  Andy Ogide led all scorers with 19 points and also a game high 15 rebounds.

Games don't come down to just one play.  The Horned Frogs won the turnover battle big time, 6-14. They also shot the three ball much better then the Rams, 58% to 26%.  However with the Rams down by two and holding the possible last possession Adam Nigon tossed up bad three with 20 seconds left, he was 1-7 from three point range before he did that.  Nigon finished 1-9 after throwing up another bad three with 4 seconds left, that one is a little more excusable but I think the Rams had better options.  Dorian Green hit a huge three with 1:21 to give the Rams the lead, that was the last good call the Rams would make on offense.  They never got the ball down low or were patient enough for a good shot.  I rant this because it has been CSU's issue all year, poor offensive choices/game plan at the end of games.  This has been keeping them from beating the good teams in the league and tonight it kept them from beating a mediocre team.

TCU played very well, only 6 turnovers, shot 58% three point range, and limited their fouls.  The Frogs could have beat quite a few teams tonight, job well done for them.  The Rams had chances but threw them away.
