Horned Frogs Look to Take Down Rams at Home

The TCU Horned Frogs(12-16, 4-9) are looking to avoid their 2nd longest losing streak of the season when the Colorado State Rams(15-11, 6-7) come into town tonight.  The Rams will be looking to avoid their longest losing streak of the season and get back to .500 in conference play.  So far the Rams have beat all the teams below them and none above them, the Rams beat TCU in the first match up 63-57 in Fort Collins.  Catch more after the jump...

The Rams will have to keep an eye on Ronnie Moss who had 21 points and 4 assists in the first meeting.  Moss fits the mold of quick guards that give the Rams issues, Dairese Gary is a similar player who just put up 23 points on the Rams during Wednesday's contest.  The Rams will be seeing Zvonko Buljan for the first time this year, he did not make the trip to Colorado for personal reasons earlier in the year.  I wouldn't expect Buljan to give the Rams problems on offense but you can't completely discount a player of his talent.

The Horned Frogs had troubles with Greg Smith in the first game allowing him to score 15 points in 29 minutes.  The story for the Rams will be again if they can shoot well enough to stay in the game, which is never easy on the road.  Adam Nigon put up a career high 23 last game and will look to find that shooting stroke again.  It should be a good battle down low between Andy Ogide and Zvonko Buljan.

The game will air at 6:30 MST on the MTN.
