Making the Rounds: 2/25/2010

Air Force: Matt Wallerstedt is the new defensive coordinator but the system will stay the same. The Falcons are winless in baseball on the year.

Colorado State: Facebook battle!! The Rams lead the Buffs in the race to 100k fans on Facebook here is the early scoreboard: 11,424 signed up for CSU's site and 9,494 for CU. Rams getting some new unis.

BYU: Jimmer Fredette has made it to the final 30 for the Naismith Player of the year award.   Also, the hoops team is  possibly heading to Corpus Christi, TX for a Thanksgiving hoops tournament.  Umm, this guy from the main stream media is just a little bit late to talk about expansion.  Will BYU stay out West come tourney time? An interesting look at BYU attendance compared to the Pac-10, Cougs would be third in Pac-10 attendance over the past three years.

New Mexico: The Lobo baseball team took
two of three from then number one Texas.

San Diego State: Brady Hoke hopes the
early spring practice will help the team. All you need to know about Aztec spring football. Aztecs are back on the bubble after their loss to BYU.

TCU: Athletic Director Chris Del Conte says talks about the Horned Frogs switching conferences is premature. Swimmer Josh Bagby is focusing on making the 2012 Olympics.

UNLV: New Rebel head coach Bobby Hauk is looking to
get local talent.  The offense will be more of a pro offense with elements of the spread offense.  Former WR Ryan Wolfe is trying to impress scouts at this weeks NFL combine.   The hoops team is in a must win situation.

Utah: New recruit James Aiono is
adjusting to the Ute defense.  Aiono was the number one JUCO recruit for the 2009 class but enrolled in January due to academic issues.  Matt Asiata was granted an extra year of eligibility.

Wyoming: Cowboys will host a
public combine tomorrow that will test the players in the same drills that are used at the NFL scouting combine
