The first round is done in the 16 team hypothetical college football playoff. The two upsets in round one were Boise State taking out Oklahoma and Virginia Tech defeating Ohio State. Below are the quarterfinal matchups which begins today with Auburn taking on Arkansas.
No. 8 Arkansas Razorbacks at No. 1 Auburn Tigers
No. 5 Wisconsin Badgers at No. 4 Stanford Cardinal
No. 10 Boise State Broncos at No. 2 Oregon Ducks
No. 11 Virginia Tech Hokies at No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs
These matchups would be great to see if college football would wake up and see how good these games could be.
