Attention Aztec Fans/Writers
I'm looking for big-time SDSU Aztecs fans and writers than have the extra time to write for a SDSU blog on SB-Nation. I haven't contacted SB-Nation yet on that possibility but if we have at least a few dedicated writers for a SDSU blog than I'm sure SB-Nation would grant us that privilege. I am a full-time law student so I don't have the time to do it on my own but I could do it with 2 or 3 dedicated writers. For now I am just seeing what is out there as far as writers to see if it is doable.
If UTEP, Wyoming, Buffalo, Northern Illinois, etc. can have dedicated blogs I'm pretty sure San Diego State can. Not only is SDSU much larger than those schools, we have an up and coming football program and one of the best basketball teams in the nation. Of course I would still contribute here on MWC. If anyone is interested, comment on this post or email me at padresaregood@aol.com
Thanks and GO STATE!

Interesting...
My brother went to law school at USD, which would make him a Triton if they had any sports programs worth following…

Hi, my name is Beau Bearden and I’ve been covering sports for the Daily Aztec since I was a freshman. A friend of mine told me about this and I might be interested. So if you could let me know some of the details, I’d appreciate it. My email is beau.bearden@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Beau

What are you thinking about naming the SB-nation blog?
I'm not sure how the naming process works.
For some reason I think SB Nation names it. If not, I have an idea but I’ll save it for later.

I think SB Nation adopts already-existing blogs.
I may be wrong, but I’m 99% sure you can create the blog yourself and then sort of petition SB Nation to be included on their site.
Everyone hates a pink-shirt-wearing communist.
I think it works both ways

i hope you get your blog going b/c i will visit and write on it. good luck.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. The most hated and misunderstood person on the MMA blogs.. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Don't be surprised if they both go undefeated.

not necessarily
The Wyoming blog here on SBN came from a writer who wrote specifically here. They did start a more Wyoming centric site but only did so for a very short time because of stuff that got in the way, so in my experience a site does not have to have their own blog to be considered, because if they write well enough as an author then they already have a platform.

Speaking of..... checkout
http://www.cowboyaltitude.com . When BYU and Utah leave that would leave only two Mountain West blogs on here: Boise State and Wyoming. We need an Aztec blog as well as a few others.
