Air Force Comeback Falls Short at TCU

The Air Force Falcons (8-6, 0-1) fell in Fort Worth 50-59 against TCU (8-7, 1-0).  Th Falcons were down by 13 at half but made a run to go ahead by 2 with 4:46 left in the game.  TCU promptly went on an 12 - 0 run to crush the Falcons hope of a come back.  The Horned Frogs shot just 38% from the field and 23.8% from 3-point land.  TCU was able to out rebound the Falcons 34-28, 12 of TCU's rebounds were on the offensive glass.  TCU also won the turnover battle 13-9.  Air Force did shoot 40% but it wasn't enough as they got beat on the glass and in the turnover battle.

Zvonko Buljan lead all scorers with 14 and added 11 rebounds for the double double.  Kevin Butler, Greg Hill, and Ronnie Moss all put up double figures in the winning effort for TCU.

Mike Fitzgerald and Taylor Broekhuis led the Falcons with 11 points a piece. 

TCU heads to Utah in their next matchup while Air Force heads to Moby Arena for a in state match up with Colorado State.
