I remember the TCU vs BS game last year was a great one and this one should only be better as both teams have improved along with the bigger stage.

The offensive has really struggled in giving Dalton time so far, we’ve been moving the ball decently on the ground but we’ve been put into several long yardage situations because of the edge rush of the Broncos.
Boise also looked a lot more fired up coming out of the tunnel than TCU, which showed in the early stages. TCU looks like it’s waking up a bit though, which will lead to a much more interesting (and more satisfying for we MWC fans) second half.
Indeed, and the key for Boise will be to hold the ball for a bit on that first possession. It doesn’t necessarily need to result in points but making the TCU offense stay on the sidelines for a bit after being fired up at halftime will help their cause.
If TCU gets a quick three and out, it will likely result in a quick 6 for the frogs.

I think it is only running in Salt Lake, Dallas/Forth Worth and Boise. It is taken from Bill Hancock’s historic Dan Patrick interview where he keeps saying they had a great season.

I know the game is far from over, but the TCU gameplan has aggravated me greatly. A complete abandonment of our strongest feature (the running game) is not how you claim you deserve a national championship.

Well, after a great start, the MWC bowl season ends with a whimper, not a bang.
Who knew that TCU would be the one to let us down.
How young is TCU?
Are they returning many starters next season?

They return nearly everyone
They lose Jerry Hughes and another defender as well as RB Joseph Turner. but the majority is back.
If Patterson wants to call games like this, losing turner is no loss at all. Just let Dalton throw the ball 50 times a game, and hire Mike Leach as the offensive coordinator.
The lack of running game in this game sickens me.

I don’t know who called the offense tonight, and I don’t want to sound like an armchair QB, but that was HORRIBLE. No effort at all in the running game, no passes to the flats, no variety, no effort, just awful.

My undying enmity for Andy Dalton throwing deep sideline routes. Three picks, all on deep sideline stuff.
Well,
I hate to be negative like this… But Dalton couldn’t manage the high pressure big game stage. He was clearly rattled, and his decision making showed it.
Hopefully someone can finally kick Boise States ass next year.
Reasons why Kenjon Barner is awesome: He is a special teams stud. He is an incredibly versatile halfback. The TaZeR formation kicks ass. Kenjon is a rad first name.

Frogs should be happy
Not with this game, but with Dalton..you guys killed all year long, he was great, just like Kellen is great for us but you tricked and abused him last year (and even this time, mostly)……our coaches just used their month of preperation to outwit your O and knock them out of their comfort zone…still, utmost respect for you guys as opponents, I really hope we can meet again as conference foes.
