It may not have been a punch
but who’s to say he didn’t get his eyes jabbed by it or his nose checked. A simple jab at the nose doesn’t feel too hot…. unless you’re Forrest Griffin or Mike Tyson.
I take that back
he may not have had his eyes poked because Henderson clearly has his fist closed.

Still doesn't negate that he intentionally
swung at Emery. My guess is this kid will be gone for 3-5 games. What a douche.
It was stupid of Henderson.
But not worthy of the scorn I’ve heard from BYU fans. Especially when their own played embarrassingly acted to what was a piss-poor tap.
I actually lost respect for Henderson. If you’re going to do something like that, make it count or don’t do it at all.
I think you're missing the point
It’s not that we’re afraid Emery might be hurt or anything, it’s that he stepped out of the realm of sports and wanted to be a moron and fight fist to cuff. Like every Ute (including yourself) who got their panties in a wad (interesting that these are both having to do with Utah losses) when Max Hall said he hates Utah your wanna be Marsall Mathers Henderson intentionally threw a punch. There’s no two ways to twist it. He stepped away from basketball and took a cheapshot at Emery. It wasn’t unintentional, and tap or not it was wrong!
Prime example of this Oregons LaGarrett(?) Blunt. No matter how hard you connect an intentional attack is still an intentional attack.

agreed it was uncalled for
And it was intentional and as far I could tell unprovoked Emery , but not as bad as some are saying. Who knows Marshall could have gotten Emery in just the right spot to knock him over just like when it looked like Seth petrazaelli barely got kimbo slice and knocked him out
