Mountain West Hoops Open Thread: BYU @ San Diego State

The big MWC games is tonight in San Diego and it is time to see if BYU can win a real conference road game (sorry Air Force). A win here for BYU could propel them very close to the top 10 when Monday's polls are released.

There’s enough multiple teams from single conferences that would be playing each other that it might be enough to knock some guys down. And given BYU’s remaining schedule, they’ve got 2-3 relatively high profile games coming up. They play New Mexico this week and the Lobos might slide back into the bottom of the top 25. Then they’ve got the huge game at UNLV February 6. Hopefully the Rebels can knock them off, but if BYU were to win out, top 5 is a possibility.
