I was writing a piece about that Whitt could be the choice because of all the coaches saying no, and just saw the update on SB Nation

Except...

that a MWC coach might fancy a trip over to Tennessee. It is not a bad time to take over that program. I mean they have gone through some rough years, but they have the potential and it is the strongest conference in football.

I think they are safer though.

But I doubt that happens and the only coach that might is Dave Christenson form Wyoming, but I even doubt that. This has been one of the craziest coaching carousels in a very long time if not ever for big jobs

I’m ecstatic with the news though. I think MWC coaches are safe from the UT job.

I think you are right. I just hope that whatever job opens up because that program’s coach went to UT is not appealing to the MWC.
