Colorado State/Colorado Preview and Open Thread
Sorry for the delay and the preview last night was a late one and today has been busy, but The Ralphie Report has a good preview of today's game.
This is a rival game and is being played in Boulder instead of Denver for the first time since 1998. This game over the past four or five years have been close coming down to the four quarter or overtime.
The Rams have their work cut out because lost their top two backs from last year and are starting a new quarterback this year in Grant Stucker. The good news for the Rams is that their offensive line is the most experienced in the country, and all-conference wide receiver Rashuan Green.
Grant Stucker basically got the job because he was healthy turned the ball over the least. However defensively the Rams are basically starting over with seven new offensive starters. Their linebacking corp is the strength of the team, but may not be enough to stop the Buffs.

GO STATE!!
Another big victory for the MWC! I thought they had a chance but still can’t believe they won!
They had a few great fundemental plays that made the difference in my eyes. Hawkins was ineffective for the most part when CSU collapsed the pocket. Sisson turned it on near the end of the game and Mason showed up BIG once Mosure got hurt. What is the status on Mosure? I was at a bar and didn’t hear anything…
Fairchild just proved his worth in this game, keeping Stucker to an acceptable amount of mistakes. I do have some criticisms but I will enjoy tonight!
Aargh.
I would have joined up for this, but we had a fireworks show in Knoxville today. Still, as a Wyoming alum, it’s always good to see the MWC beat the Big 12.
no worries
We will have open threads all season, so join when you can.
