Colorado State QB Grant Stucker Talks about being Named the Starter

Since Klay Kubiak seemed to be the number 2 guy last year do you think once he is healthy he will be plugged in as the starter?

I think a running QB could work in Fairchild’s offense if they still have the passing skills to keep the defense from cheating up. Here is to Stucker having a great game and some cheesy headlines tomorrow in CO reading something like “Grant Stucker’s it to the Buffs”!

Is that cause of his skill level or would Fairchild try and get a QB into his system knowing he would have him for a few years and take a few bumps in the road at the start? He seemed high on Kubiak last year (bringing him into the TCU game) but I wasn’t overly impressed as he made a lot of freshman mistakes.

Also where does Nico Ranieri fit into the future? They seemed pumped to get him as a recruit. He is listed on the roster but but the depth chart on the CSU website. I heard of redshirting him cause of a hernia but no definite answer.
