Week 4 Blogpoll Rough Draft
The Blogpoll is set up by MGoBlog and is a collection of bloggers who actually watch the games, which is more then what the coaches, AP, or Harris poll voters can say. The poll is so respected that CBS Sports is behind the poll and it is posted along side the polls that actually count. Here is an explanation of the Blog poll from Brian himself.
Movement is still fluid in the polls with a ton of upsets especially with Cal, Penn State, Miami, FL, and Ole Miss all losing. As usual give me some feedback that and I will adjust if your argument is convincing enough.
The poll is after the jump...

I have the same issues I had last week.
Why is Ohio State be #9 and USC is unranked, when they each have the same record and USC beat Ohio State on the road? Why is Oklahoma ahead of BYU when BYU has a better record (3-1 v. 2-1) and BYU beat Oklahoma on the road? I would flip BYU/OU and I would put USC back in the poll (they won last week). Ohio State looks over-rated to me, so maybe OSU at 15 and USC at 14.
I do appreciate you having Oklahoma St. ahead of Georgia (lots of polls have that reversed, despite Oklahoma St.‘s thrashing of Georgia) and Iowa ahead of Penn State (lots of polls didn’t do that either)

Thanks for the USC Catch
I had to rush the last few spots in, so Ill make sure they are where they need to be. Thanks for the input, I think I have OSU that high is because so many teams lost. I could move Cincy up a spot, but I do not think BYU, OU, Iowa, or Oregon should be ahead of OSU, they do have 2 straight shut outs.

I would put Oregon, BYU and OU ahead of Ohio State
But that’s just me. If you think Ohio State is in the right spot (and they might be, although the shutouts were of 2-2 Toledo and 1-2 Illinois that also got rocked by Missouri) that’s reasonable, as long as USC gets up there too.
And like I said, BYU beat OU on the road (technically a “neutral field” but lets not kid ourselves) and has the same record, so I would put BYU at 12 and OU at 13 with USC at 9 and OSU at 10 (if you insist on keeping OSU that high).

nebraska is the team that should be out of the poll
they did lose a heartbreaker vs va. tech but their other three wins are vs sunbelt teams at home. the big 12 is doing what the sec has done for years. play the sunbelt teams and get easy wins then play their regular sec schedule. the sec is far and away the best confernece, but the debate for # 2 best conference could be any other bcs conference and even the mwc if new mexico was not the joke of the nation. i’ll take the top three of the mwc over any conference escept the sec. i am not alone in this opinion. texas is going to lose and i think they will lose twice. i also see boise state going 13-0 they have an extra game this year and tcu going 12-0. if houston manages a 12-0 season that could mean 3 non bcs teams are undefeated and the only other team i see going undefeated is florida as long as tebow’s concussion won’t limit him to action. there is plenty of college football left but it’s going to be an even better season than last year. i also think two non bcs teams will get bids to bcs bowls. peace out. ramble on!
