Counting Down the Mountain West 2000's Decade Greatest Players: #9 Chad Hall WR/HB Air Force

Stay connected for news and updates

The countdown of the top 10 list of players of the decade started out with the honorable mention list and now we are moving to the ninth best player of the past decade.

#9 Chad Hall Air Force WR/HB (2004-2007)

  • 2007 Rivals Third team All-American
  • 2007 Sports Illustrated All-American
  • 2007 MWC Offensive Player of the Year
  • 2007 All-MWC First Team
  • 2006 All-MWC Second Team

Chad Hall is possibly one of the most valuable players for their team in the Mountain West.  During his breakout year in 2007 he accumulated 1,478 yards rushing, 524 rushing yards, and 16 total touchdowns. That yardage accounted for 36 percent of their total offense.  Hall was technically a wide receiver but under new head coach Troy Calhoun's hybrid run option attack used Hall as more of a runner and seldom as a receiver.  He was the key cog to getting Air Force back to their first bowl game since the 2002 San Francisco Bowl.
