New Mexico Bowl: A look at the stats

The Wyoming Cowboys are going bowling for the first time since 2004 and they face a tough challenge as they take on the Fresno Sate Bulldogs.  Fresno features an explosive offense led by the Ryan's.  Ryan Mathews is one of the nations leading rushers and Ryan Colburn is a quality gunslinger.

Wyoming didn't have have any victories over teams with winning records and Fresno only had one which was a victory over Idaho.  If this game turns into a shootout then the Bulldogs should win easily.  Wyoming needs to control the game clock and win the turnover battle.

Stats are after the jump.  A full game preview will be up next week.
