Border War Open Thread: Wyoming Trying to be bowl Eligible

Only one game today but it is an important game for both sides.  Wyoming is trying to reach a bowl game under new head coach Dave Christenson while Colorado State is trying not to extend their losing streak to nine games and have that hanging in the off season.

Wyoming @ Colorado State 12PM MST The Mtn.

Also, the Auburn vs. Alabama rival game is going on around this time as well, so fell free to comment on that.  A Alabama loss will help TCU get up to that number two spot.

Let's hear what you think. Register for a free account here on the site and leave your comments, predictions and other game day chatter below in the comments section.

I have now integrated twitter to the open thread.  So, within your message you need to put #mwc in the tweet and it will show up.  Wend it to @mwcconnection.  Also, if your not following me my twitter name is @mwcconnection

i see wyoming winning this game outright even though they are getting 3 and 1/2 points

wyoming"s need is greater than csu pride. plus any team that give up the last td to n.m. imo just gave up when it got tough on the field.

any chance boise losses to nevada?. if the line got to 14 points i would take the wolfpack

it has not. many of the rivalry games have been close today and texas yesterday. maybe one blowout is in order.

It's possible.

Nevada, when they’re on their game, can score a lot of points. I’d still thing Boise is the huge favorite, but Nevada is a very respectable opponent.

13 points to be exact. i've already done well with a&m, wyoming and central michigan

i think i’ll just enjoy the offensive explosion.

A summary of CSU's season...

Matt Yemm with the catch to put CSU in field goal pos… ohhh… never mind. That play summed up CSU’s season right there. A chance to win on a play they should make and some how Wyoming intercepts it.

First time I had got a good look at Carta-Samuels… not excited to play him 3 more times.
