Wyoming Hoops now at 2-2
After a 80-77 loss at the University of Denver Wednesday night the Wyoming Cowboys dropped to 2-2 on the season. The Cowboys had a 10 point lead at halftime but let this physical game slip game away in the second half.
Last week the Cowboys won both of their games. A big 120-73 win over NAIA Peru State and solid 87-61 victory over Boise State. The Cowboys have turned to a full court press to challenge their opponents. Sophomore Afam Muojeke currently leads the Cowboys and the Mountain West with 21 points per game and 4.3 turnovers. A.J. Davis tops the Mountain West with 3.7 steals per game.
This weekend the Cowboys host the World Vision Challenge a tournament featuring Monmouth, Hampton and Pepperdine. The tournament starts on Friday and runs through Sunday.
