Mountain West Football All Day Open Thread: Air Force vs. BYU leads the Way

Early games today for the Mountain West with the finale being the dreg of all dregs with Colorado State traveling to New Mexico both looking for their first conference win. Air Force and BYU should be a good one because the Falcons can legitimately beat BYU.
Comment on any of the games that can affect TCU and their chance on the BCS or any games that are interesting today.

It's not as bad as 35 in SD.
Thin air without humidity doesn’t pull the heat off you quite as fast. The dehydration is a different issue. Bring lots of your favorite lip balm.
(But yeah, compared to SD, the place is a tundra wasteland.)

It’s actually a win-win for me. If they did win, I can be happy for them. When they don’t, I’ll be happy for the conference.

The Mountain West Conference has five bowl tie-ins.13
* #1 The Maaco Bowl Las Vegas receives the first choice of Mountain West teams, unless that team is selected by the BCS.
* #2 The Poinsettia Bowl receives the second choice of Mountain West teams.
* #3-4 The Armed Forces Bowl and the New Mexico Bowl have the third and fourth picks, but in no particular order.
* #5 The Humanitarian Bowl receives the fifth choice of Mountain West teams.
And Wyoming's D will get gassed if they don't get quick stops to start the half.
They’ve already faced 36 plays, and it could have been worse if TCU hadn’t been working short fields all day.

projections show them into it, so I kinda figured they were already set.
Navy tends to accept a bid about 15 minutes after becoming eligible.
I think BYU is very inconsistent
They destroyed Wyoming in Laramie, but barely squeaked by New Mexico. So I don’t know what to expect.
Wyoming shot themselves in the foot
Fumble 2 plays after a 3 and out by TCU.
TCU has the ball on Wyoming’s 25.
That's the one game I want back.
I know it’s unrealistic, but I wanted Wyoming to win that one. And boy, would it have solved some problems right about now.

this sets a big game in provo for two 9-2 teams. utah is better than byu defensively
utah will win 27-21. bank on it 10-2 here we come. two big ten schools who are just rated abouve utah and byu are losing or tied. at least one is going to lose. we both rise up in rankings. anybody say espn gameday again? the holy war. corso throws down cougars helmet and puts on utes helmet. lol

tcu has two other things going for them
clemson is beating virginia and has already locked up acc cg vs g.t. if smu beats marshal they lock up conference usa cg. wyoming has 5 wins so i’ll bet they gain on texas just a little. texas needs to beat kansas by 35to 42points which i think they will b/c boise won by 44 points. florida won by 59 points, bama shutout out chattanooga and tcu won by 35. it dose not bode well for kansas with all the accusation going around either.

clemson has south carolina for the last regular season game.
another feather in clemson’s hat if they can beat an sec team. maybe the ball bounces are way maybe it does not but tcu has shown the country and especially espn who gets to broadcast i think all bcs games starting in 2011.
