Week Nine Blogpoll Draft

The Blogpoll is set up by MGoBlog and is a collection of bloggers who actually watch the games, which is more then what the coaches, AP, or Harris poll voters can say. The poll is so respected that CBS Sports is behind the poll and it is posted along side the polls that actually count. Here is an explanation of the Blog poll from Brian himself.

The top five stayed the same and I think I have the right choice by putting Oregon ahead of Iowa which for some reason the other polls that count did not do so.  If Iowa would have had five turnovers against any team in the top 30 they would have been smoked, so they stay the same.

Penn State and Pitt move up because they have actually been doing well, and I feel I have been undervaluing Pitt all season.  BYU is back by virtue of other teams losing, and even though Cincy played well they get jumped by Oregon because that was a great win.

I think if Oregon

Wins out which includes a good win over Arizona then I will put Oregon ahead of Boise

i think stanford can upset oregon. they have been very good at home and there loses

on the road for the most part were close. i think toby g. is healthy. i would expect 30 carries from him in this game.

I can't justify putting Oregon ahead of Boise.

The results on the field have to mean something. Boise won, Oregon lost. Boise’s better unless it was a fluke, and it can’t be a fluke if Boise has a better record than Oregon. Until Boise loses, they’re the better team.

Everyone hates a pink-shirt-wearing communist.
