Week Ten Mountain West Football Power Poll

I am so close to put Colorado State in the basement, but nothing can be done their since New Mexico is still winless.  One voter from Holy War Football did make the move and dump Colorado State to the bottom spot.  Wyoming and San Diego State are basically tied but San Diego State has a slight lead, but the two will settle it on the field this Saturday.

That's right, CSU in the toilet

How do I justify it? If you look at all the MWC games, CSU hasn’t been close in any of them. At least two weeks ago, UNM only lost by 3. At least they were competitive.

I kind of agree

They have lost 7 straight, but UNM still has no wins.

I am supposed to send in a vote at some point?

In retrospect

I should have bumped up UNLV above SDSU. Even though Wyoming got destroyed I still like what they are doing this year. The Border War will be pretty interesting this year.

I guarantee you SDSU smokes UNLV at the end of the season.

I think you mixed up your math.

The first four are easy:
TCU: 1*7 = 7, average of 1
Utah: 2*7 = 14, average of 2
BYU: 3*7 = 21, average of 3
AF: 4*7 = 28, average of 4

But then I think it’s as follows:
SDSU: (3*5)(2*6)(2*7) = 41, average of 5.857
UNLV: (2*5)(3*6)(2*7) = 42, average of 6
Wyoming: (2*5)(2*6)(3*7) = 43, average of 6.143
CSU: (6*8)(1*9) = 57, average of 8.143
UNM: (1*8)(6*9) = 62, average of 8.857

So SDSU is one point ahead of UNLV.

I am a little surprised by the UNLV love. I think UW will end 5-7 and UNLV will be 4-8 (losing their last two). SDSU gets bowl eligible by beating those two, and I think that happens.
