TCU Jumps Boise State in Latest USA Today Coaches Poll
Two big things happened in this poll, first TCU jumped Boise and rose from sixth to fourth in the poll, but it is a very slim margin with TCU leading by six points. The other is that the coaches, SID, or assistant who votes in this poll moved UP Iowa after their latest come from behind win.
Iowa won and overcame six turnovers in the game, but why does inertia take place just because they won. Yes, USC lost but that does not mean Iowa should move up. Oregon should be ahead of Iowa as should Cincy. The Bearcats beat a bad Syracuse team easily 28-7 with their backup quarterback, so not sure why Iowa gets the nod to not only be ahead of Cincy but to jump them as well.
The Utes move up from 19th to 16th and BYU who benefited from the bye week is back in the polls at number 25. Check the entire poll below, and look for the BCS standings release with analysis later today.

Pollsters trying to preserve Floribama/Texas
The Hawks are 9-0 with the hardest S.O.S. according to the computers. They certainly haven’t won pretty, but they’re the only team on that list that can boast that record. If this were a Boise St. or TCU team doing the same thing, you know their fans and coaches would be screaming about how the MWC gets no respect.
The AP poll is almost the opposite for spots 3-8, listing every undefeated ahead of Iowa and leapfrogging Oregon up there.
1 Florida (38) 8-0 1448 1
2 Texas (13) 8-0 1408 3
3 Alabama (8) 8-0 1390 2
4 Cincinnati 8-0 1212 5
5 Boise State 8-0 1211 6
6 TCU 8-0 1147 8
7 Oregon 7-1 1130 10
8 Iowa 9-0 1127 7
I’ll be pulling for Cincy, TCU, and Boise from here on out because I’m all about chaos destroying the BCS. An undefeated Iowa with a better S.O.S. than either of the teams in the NC game would help the argument as well.

Not a big fan of Cinci either, playing in the Big Least

True
But I feel like Oregon is probably better than them.

TCU
What if there was a playoff each December between the MWC and the WAC. The winner could get an automatic BCS bowel and might give a chance for one of them to play for a national championship someday.
College Football Playoff
If the sports writers or coaches really wanted to have a playoff in College Football they would vote for an undefeated TCU or Boise State at the end of the season as the national champion and forget about the bogus National Championship Game. It would upset the big boys enought that there would be a playoff.
chaos
Either having boise or tcu in title game or 2 non-bcs in bcs games because that would take away money from the bcs leagues
