Freshman QB Jordan Wynn still is not red-shirting officially, despite not playing in the first seven games for the Utes. Wynn may play in the teams Halloween blackout game against Wyoming.

BYU

After a blowout loss at home, BYU is at a crossroads with itself between what they actually are, and who they want to be.  They are trying to put the TCU loss behind them and recover during their bye week.

TCU

TCU should start campaigning now for the national championship that they deserve to play for.  The Horned Frogs will will need more support from their fans to continue winning.

San Diego State

The Aztecs are carrying momentum into their game as they look to get back to .500 against New Mexico.

Under first year coach Dave Christensen, Wyoming has made big improvements from last season.

Colorado State

Steve Fairchild values patience with his inconsistent Rams team.

Air Force

Sophomore QB Tim Jefferson will be given a second chance to prove he is the Falcons best quarterback when the team takes on Colorado State.

Mike Sanford is going into TCU, expecting to beat the 6th ranked Horned Frogs.

New Mexico

The Lobos hope to get their first win in Qualcomm Stadiuma place that they have success playing in, winning their last six.
