GameDay is in town for the BYU/TCU game which is the headliner this afternoon for the league. Only four games this week, and hopefully they are all good, one good thing though there is no super late MWC game. The night ends with the pillow fight of the night with UNLV traveling to the Lockley-less New Mexico Lobos.
Also, feel free to comment on other games that may effect the MWC's chance for a BCS run.

Under current regulations, in order for this to occur, a team must record at least six wins in the standard 12-game schedule, which may include one win against a Division I FCS scholarship-awarding1 opponent, and the team must not be on probation. straight from wiki

Assuming we lose to TCU and Utah, we’d have to beat New Mexico, UNLV, and Wyoming. That’s definitely doable. New Mexico (0-6) at home is a probable win. Wyoming at home will be the toughest. UNLV sucks but we play them at their place so that will be tough too. Especially if Brown is out. If Brown is in, we have so many WRs that are dangerous that need to be covered, I don’t think anyone can stop them.

Might be the surprise of the year. I heard nothing about it all preseason and also early this year. They have put up some serious numbers though.

TCU definitely looks like the class of the MWC but i don’t see BYU in the top 25 after this game.
tcu crushing byu like i said they would. only challenge left is utah
tcu will go undefeated and when the new bcs standings come out i say they will surpass both iowa who won in last second and cincy who beat an awful louisville team. not only does tcu get power points for beating a 16th ranked byu team. they get an extra push b/c clemson beat miami and tcu defeated clemson on their homefield. jim delaney of the big ten is going to faint when he sees his 8-0 big ten team passed by tcu. i would love to be there when it happens. peace out!

i said utah/ airforce would be 24-17 earlier in the day. only one point off each way
i said tcu 35 byu 17. tcu defense could be as good as florida as far as i’m concerned. don’t laugh either b/c you can’t tell me tcu would not destroy arkansas which florida needed a sec referee call to get them in for the winning score.

tcu offense is mostly jr's. including andy dalton that duel threat qb who was boobing and weaving and throwing pin point
passes to his receivers. they are going to go undefeated. surpass everyone until they hit the wall at number 4 until one of these teams goes down. alabama needed two fg’s blocked to win their game. florida does not have the offensive firepower they once had and texas is going to be beat by okie state. osu can beat texas. clemson beating miami is just an added bonus for tcu to rise on uuuupuupppppppupupuupupupupuup!
