Early Recruiting: TCU Horned Frogs

TCU is slowly becoming the third best team in the state. They will never surpass Texas on a yearly basis, but they will be able to be on par or above other teams like Texas Tech and Texas A&M out of the Big XII. Also, being in Texas helps TCU to get players who may have been overlooked by the 'bigger' programs even though those players are good enough to play in BCS leagues, but they choose TCU to stay close to home.

Recent success over the past decade have helped raise TCU's profile, and this team has had six seasons of 10 wins or more since 2000 and only one losing season in that time.

The five recruits are all from Texas and to no surprise four of the five commits are on the defensive side of the ball. Defense is where TCU has shined under Gary Pattersons coaching career in Fort Worth.
