Spring Football Preview: TCU
Spring practice starts: Feb. 28
Spring game: April 4
3 Things to watch
- Star defensive end Jerry Hughes returns, but the Frogs will need to find others to replace on a defense that returns only four starters from last year. Knowing coach Patterson TCU should have little trouble finding replacements.
- The Frogs return eight on offense, and the only area of emphasis will be to find a running back mate to go along side Joseph Turner. The offense for once could be the strong point for TCU.
- Quarterback Andy Dalton returns and will need to get familiar with the new wide receivers this spring in order to get the offense in an early groove.
