BYU has added Hawai'i to their schedule for the 2012 and 2013 season. These old WAC foes have not played since the 2002 season. BYU leads the overall series 19-8.
BYU with the off week hit the recruiting trail hard and Coach Bronco Mendenhall attended a local game in Utah with Bingham and West Jordan, and offered a scholarship to Harvey Langi who is only a sophomore, from Bingham and as of now is projected to be the best player in the 2010 season which would make him a 2011 signee.
The offer is an only an oral offer, because a school can give a written offer until the first day of the students junior year. Langi has also been offered by University of Utah during the summer, and Langi is considered a top 100 recruit by recruiting service maxprepsports.com
As of now BYU has offered to this players for the upcoming recruiting season. This is speculative because coaches can not talk about specific recruits until they have signed.
