Colorado State Rams name Quarterback Starter and other camp news

There will be no quarterback controversy in Fort Collins, as head coach Steve Fairchild names Senior Billy Farris the starter on opening day against Colorado on Sunday August 30. Farris has only thrown 39 collegiate passes, but by giving him the starting nod now gives him the chance to work with first team exclusively.

In BYU camp starting safety David Tafuna is out with a concussion from a helmet-to-helmet hit that happened during practice, and his time table for returning is unknown.

Also, Coach Bronco Mendenhall is concerned with the teams depth, he knows their is ability in the second and third string players, but execution is a worry if one of the starters do go down.
