NCAA, NIT, and CBI tournament annoucnements

BYU and UNLV ended up making it to the NCAA tournament as expected with New Mexico leaving early by losing to Utah.

BYU who is a 8 seed is playing 9 seedTexas A&M in Anaheim on Thursday the time has yet to be determined and BYU is in the West region. I am surprised that BYU was as low as an 8 seed after losing to UNLV. I assumed they would have been a 7 at the least even after losing.

UNLV who is seeded 8th as well and will be playing Kent State on Thursday as well and this game will be played in Omaha which is in the Midwest region.

As for the NIT bids the Mountain West received 2 bids which start with New Mexico traveling to Cal on Wednesday and then San Diego State also mad the NIT and they travel to play Florida also on Wednesday.

Then the newly formed CBI tournament Utah will be facing UTEP on the road in the first round of this 16 team post season tournament also on Wednesday March 19th.
