Recruiting Scandal

With signing day just one day away there is no way I could pass up posting this amazing recruiting twist, scandal, or just over all bizarre recruiting story. I first found this at Cougar Legion which posted the story this morning and it is truly amazing. In the short a player named Kevin Hart from Fernley, NV has committed to Cal Golden Bears over the Oregon Ducks. That may not sound strange, but the article states that Hart or his coaches have never visited Cal or had contact with the coaching staff. In fact none of the schools on the offensive lineman's list had he visited or contacted which included the two schools above plus Nevada, Illinois and Oklahoma State.

He had a huge assembly the other day with media from the local tv and print variety in front of approximately 1,000 fans for his decision. This story is just way out there, for the full story here is the link
