National Semi-Finals LSU Vs. Georgia @ The Orange Bowl

So it looks like the SEC is the best conference with 3 of the final 4 teams are from the conference. This game matches up 2 of the conferences teams in LSU and Georgia and should be a great matchup in the Orange Bowl. LSU was a preseason and end of season top ranked team by bouncing around with a few loses, but in the playoffs have stepped it up to get to this game.

Georgia had a few early season losses that allowed the Bulldogs to go under the radar and was able to run off a bunch of wins and get itself in the top 5 of the polls.

Georgia's strength is their running game where the Bulldogs have 2 players who combined for over 2,000 yards and then they can toss in the play action once the running game gets going. Matthew Stafford the QB has a 2-1TD/INT ratio and has also tossed for over 2,000 yards passing so LSU will not be able to focus on just one aspect of the game.

LSU does have a good offense but their strength is behind DT Glenn Dorsey and their defense which only gives up 19 points per game and will have their hands full against Georgia. While the Tigers defense is their known commodity the Tigers offense scores in the 30's per game and are very dangerous.

LSU does have an overall better team because of their defense that can slow down the Georgia's under classmen at QB and RB in this game, and LSU should win in a close game and advance to the National Championship game against the winner of Oklahoma and Florida.
