Round 2 USC Vs. Oklahoma @ The Cotton Bowl

This game could be the national championship based on the way the teams have played later on. The two coaches in Pete Carroll and Bob Stoops are two of the biggest big game coaches so these coaches will be prepared to play. USC has John David Booty and Oklahoma is led by Sam Bradford. The location of the Bowl game will benefit Oklahoma with the game being in Dallas.

The defense that USC has will be one that Oklahoma has not seen all year and this could cause problems for Oklahoma. This game will definitely be better then the 2004 National Title game when USC crushed Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. Expect Oklahoma to pull this one out because their defense is much better in what USC can line up. This will be a close game but OU has the home field and a better defense that can slow USC.

Booty had a good showing for USC in the Rose Bowl

“Booty threw for three scores — giving him a record seven touchdown passes in the last two Rose Bowls — in the Trojans’ 49-17 victory. The senior from Shreveport, La., threw his other four last year in a 32-18 defeat of Michigan.” From a John David Booty website.

Glad to see him end his Trojans career on a good note. Good luck to him in the pros.
