University Stadium 7PM MT TV/Radio: Versus/ CSTV PPV (delayed)/Sirius

Here is an interesting match up for the conference this week. This game could determine who has a shot at staying in the conference race, both teams have one loss and both have loss to BYU. So, really this game can shape up for second place. For Air Force they have only one more conference game after this one, and since they are 5-1 in conference play they technically are in better shape to finish above the Lobos if they win since they have less chances to lose in conference. Air Force has been showing signs of wearing down, which has been a pattern by them the past few year however they have been winning those close games, just look at last weeks squeaker. New Mexico is equally fired up for this game a win here would put them in 2nd place all by themselves. New Mexico needs to find a way to create turnovers and control the time of possession to limit the damage that Chad Hall and the Falcon running attack can do. New Mexico has the weapons on the offensive end to be able to exploit the Air Force defense. As for Air Force they have been wavering a bit and against bad competition. They need to keep the ball in their hands and use their good running game to attack the Lobos, and then use Shaun Carney to pass when asked to throw off the Lobos. Since this game is at University Stadium in New Mexico I would give the slight edge to the Lobos, but this game will be a close one, so don't miss it.
